Message I was the computer club founder at our highschool, and we ran the board from a computer we pieced together. Sweet machine for the time, 386/16sx with 500MB disk and 8mb of ram runing OS/2. That was my hobby for a few months until one of our members was uploading porn and the computer dept. head was watching the screen as he uploaded it. The computer actually disappeared until the end of the term. L:)
Another great accomplishment was salvaging old computer parts a couple years ago to build a file server. Dual PPro200, 160mb or ram and 9x2gb scsi disks in a RAID 0 configuration. It takes almost a minute just to spin up the disks :) Now its pretty much a real life door stop. lol
I'm not even an IT guy. Our IT guy at work is a dumbass.
